Displayed a meager portion of our vast textile excess, and yet it towered over viewers. Its size and interconnected forms evoked different things for different viewers: dread, disappointment, curiosity, inspiration… The effect was not an accumulation of waste, but of useful material swimming in a kind of purgatory.
